Jellie Park

Last Friday for our year 8 leavers activity we went to Jellie Park. We did the same thing last year but I had a broken arm so I could not swim, so it was my first time actually swimming there.

At Jellie Park there is only one pool and three hydro slides outside but there is more pools inside and a hydro slide inside but we weren't allowed inside, there is also a cafe that we could buy stuff at so I bought $10 with me but I didn't buy anything because it is really expensive.

The thing I think is the best would be the hydro slides. There is one curvy hydro slide that you can have up to 4 people on, and there is two parallel fast slides. They are really fast and you can race people on them. When you get to the bottom of the slide you skim across the water then smash into the water. There are also 2 diving boards, one of them is 1 metre and another one is 3 metres. I went on both of them and the 3 metre doesn't look very big when you look at it but when you are on the top it feels way bigger than when you are blow it.

When we got in the bus to leave I noticed that I had a slight but of sun burn on the back of my neck but it is way less than I thought I would get.
