Isolation Day 1&2

For the past few days I have been stuck at home like the rest of New Zealand. The thought of me not being able to go far hasnt reallly got to me yet because I usually dont go far anyway, but four weeks is quite long. I don't know what I will do at home for four weeks because I dont want to spend too long on my Playstation. I have already been on minecraft but I don't think I will go on it again for a few days.

To do my work I have been using our old family laptop. It is older than my brother (he's 7) but works very well. on Thursday Sharon did a video chat with the class to check in and see how they are going  but only 5 other people joined. I thought it was really cool. We have been doing work on Education Perfect. I personally don't really like it because I have so much spelling work and I don't know any of the words but at least I am learning. We also have our Literacy work that I think I need to finish, but todays my last day of work until the holidays. YAY.

  1. Glad to hear you are managing on a computer older than your brother! I'm glad you have been able to use Education Perfect. I know there isn't much variety yet, as we were making sure you could connect - but hopefully next term it will be just one part of your learning. And it is great you are learning new words! Take a break from your work now but keep us up to date via the blog. He waka eke noa.

  4. Hi Callum, Yeah four weeks is a long time. Your getting on with it so that’s great. Always good learning new spelling words might be hard at times but that’s how we learn by giving things ago.I hope you had a good Easter. You’ll be back into school work now in a different way but new can be a good thing at times . Resilience
